That was fun spending all nights designing Logos with  Inkscape Project and submitting ideas to Markus à midnight !! then, we end-up spending extra many hours in pear-designing Logo !! (didn’t know that was possible… but in a rush, everything becomes possible!).
We wanted to get the design of the AZUG FR logo correctly for our new association.
We submitted right at the proper time for printing the Kakemono for the D-Day of the launch of our association the “Azure User Group France”, during the

In order to design properly the Logo with an opensource tool, I chose  that can draw excellent vectorial images that can scale massively, because the Keynote will be presented in on gigantic monitor.

Summary of the 1rst Global Azure Bootcamp Lyon in France 2014

 

This is a report of the first Global Azure Bootcamp in Lyon, that welcomed over 120 people.

It is an international event involving more than 138 cities in the world in 56 countries. The association MUG -Lyon was chosen to organize the Lyon edition! And I was the lucky person who has organized all this with many partnership.

Over 16 experts were speakers, ranging from:

• Many MVP from France honored the event by becoming speakers : they came Grenoble, Marseille, Lyon. Even a RD, Daniel Tizon (Microsoft Regional Director) came all the way from Switzerland


• to Microsoft employee from Paris, Microsoft v –TSP,


• or publised book author, Certified Microsoft, MSP students or enthusiasts GEEKS BIG ...

They addressed various topics on Azure : Java , PHP, Zend Framework 2 , mobility, Ruby , Python, C #

As far as I am concerned, not only was I busy organizing the event, I also presented 2 sessions as Microsoft vTSP (“virtual Technology Specialist”).

I designed three tracks in // to address the needs avec everyone, and to ensure all can fit in one day !!
(beginner, experts and CxOs)

TechDays 2014: Windows Azure experts on the Windows Azure on stage !!

Microsoft asked me to be one of the Windows Azure experts on the Windows Azure stage during the TechDays 2014 Paris, 18000 visitors.

How to say no to such offer ?!! Based on true massive fixed-price Azure projects, my role is to present how to easy it is to enforce DevOps and Dev-Tests thanks to Windows Azure.

I will also take to opportunity to represent the MUG-Lyon (Microsoft User Group) : as the lead organizer of the Global Windows Azure Bootcamp in Lyon for 2014 event. Its an unusually large bootcamp, since it targets 100 to 200 people, with 3 tracks in parallel and over 9 Azure experts from around France / Switzerland, to provide talks, live coding and demos.

Plenty of technologies to prove that Azure Cloud is respectful of your preferred programming language and environment.
